L.A PAIN CLINIC IS LOOKING FOR A F/T or P/T MED.ASSISTANT. Foreign Medical Graduates may apply for this position.
The position includes duties such as patient interviews, vitals, charting in patient records, typing medical reports, billing and collections, EKG’s and injections. Basic arithmetic skills are required for this position. If you cannot calculate what is 1/2 of 19, please do not bother to apply for this position. You will undergo an arithmetic test. Other duties would include keeping rooms stocked w/supplies & assisting physician when needed. Other duties may not be included in this list. Our ideal candidate would be a foreign medical graduate or someone w/at least 1-2 year of front and/or back office medical assisting, but new graduates will be considered if the skills & personality are the right match. Bilingual is a plus.
Needs to be competent w/computers and scheduling. Must know how to type efficiently and accurately. Medical Billing experience is a plus but will train if needed
Must be personable, positive, flexible and responsible.
