Research Assistant
Temporary, Monday – Thursday alternating Friday and Saturday

In this role, you will recruit and screen study participants for the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC) Study. The CRIC is a national, multi-center prospective cohort of over 3,000 individuals with mild-to-moderate chronic renal insufficiency. Duties include conducting telephone or in-person interviews with study participants; editing and coding questionnaire data; preparing forms and maintaining accurate records/files.

Qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Previous experience in a research/health care environment preferred
  • Previous interviewing experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of computer applications, such as word processing and database software preferred
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Familiarity with editing/coding questionnaires preferred
  • The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
  • Must be able to work some weekend hours

Note: This position is expected to continue for one year pending continuation of grant/contract.
