Research Assistant
Temporary, Monday Thursday alternating Friday and Saturday
In this role, you will recruit and screen study participants for the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC) Study. The CRIC is a national, multi-center prospective cohort of over 3,000 individuals with mild-to-moderate chronic renal insufficiency. Duties include conducting telephone or in-person interviews with study participants; editing and coding questionnaire data; preparing forms and maintaining accurate records/files.
Qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience in a research/health care environment preferred
- Previous interviewing experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge of computer applications, such as word processing and database software preferred
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Familiarity with editing/coding questionnaires preferred
- The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
- Must be able to work some weekend hours
Note: This position is expected to continue for one year pending continuation of grant/contract.
