Sr. Research Assistant
Temporary, Monday Thursday alternating Friday and Saturday
In this role, you will conduct telephone or in-person interviews with study participants for the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC) Study. The CRIC is a national, multi-center prospective cohort of over 3,000 individuals with mild-to-moderate chronic renal insufficiency. Duties include recruiting and obtaining consents from study participants; assisting in training new study staff in study protocols and providing instruction to study participants; and using computer software to provide basic data management and generating reports.
Qualifications include:
- At least one year of experience in a research/health care environment
- Previous interviewing experience
- Previous experience in editing/coding questionnaires
- An associates degree or equivalent experience
- A bachelors degree may substitute for experience in the field
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge of computer applications, such as word processing and database software
- Familiar with medical terminology
- The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
- Must be able to work some weekend hours
Note: This position is expected to continue for one year pending continuation of grant/contract.
