Veterinary Assistant Position
San Francisco Veterinary Specialists is looking for a full time veterinary assistant. Assistants are asked to perform a wide variety of tasks including animal restraint, kennel maintenance, and medical supply stocking. Our assistants work closely with veterinary nurses and doctors to offer high quality medicine to our patients and clients.
Assistants should expect to spend nearly all of their workdays on their feet and actively working any given task. Candidates will be required to meet the physical demands of this job. The position requires multi-tasking and the ability to take direction well. A calm patient attitude and compassion for animals is a must. Previous veterinary experience is preferred.
