VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Experienced Veterinary Assistant position available at small animal practice in Valley Center. Multi-tasking and people skills are a must. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, outgoing, and someone that can become an integral part of our team. Applicant must be professional, punctual, reliable, and have the ability to follow through with tasks when interrupted. Applicant must have knowledge of hospital operations, performing daily assistant duties, and assisting with handling of client issues. Experience with Cornerstone is also a plus. You must be able to lift 40 lbs and be comfortable restraining and working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. We have a beautiful, clean hospital that people love to walk into and all staff members share cleaning duties to maintain its appearance.
We have wonderful clients that are great to work with and are like family to our staff.
Will consider full time applicants, but candidates must be available for some Saturdays. We are open Monday through Saturday. Salary varies with experience and performance.
